New Kite Method Tidal Energy
Swedish start-up Minesto has developed underwater kite propelled turbine technology that capture tidal energy for electricity. Water, 800 times denser than air, has 800 times the energy when moving. The kites move 10 times faster than the water flow, giving 1000 times the energy.
