David Brancaccio of NOW on PBS talks with environmental activist Van Jones, founder of “Green for All,” an environmental group dedicated to bringing green jobs to the disadvantaged.

In March, Jones was appointed as special advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Now that he has the President’s ear, will Jones be creating a new career frontier for America?

    Green Collar Jobs
The economy is in great need of revitalization, there are many small green job activists that are trying to create jobs for America. The government should do more to help with this process; the main roadblock for green job creation is the politics.

All Americans Must Join The National Strike!

One way to stop Wall Street, big banks, lobbyist, pharmaceutical companies, and others who continue to hurt our economy and Mainstream Americans, fight fire with fire; all Americans should collectively join a national strike! All Americans should stop working for one week.
When companies and the government feel the heat, this will wake them up quickly! All Americans should not go to work for one week; we should send a message to those undeserving companies who received bailout money and tax cuts, these people have not kept their word to help Americans get back on their feet. One week of no labor will cripple many industries and the government.
We the people are suppose to have a voice in our government. Now it’s time for all Americans to be heard! All Americans should hold public servants and businesses accountable for their actions!

All Americans Are Urged To Join The National Strike!
