On Friday, September 11, 2009 anyone interested in acquiring rare Hawaiian varieties of taro will have an opportunity to do so at the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens. Sale starts at 10:00 am and closes at 6:00 pm. Over 30 varieties from family groups of Mana, Piko, Kai, Lauloa, ‘Ele’ele, ‘Ula’ula and Manini available. Save money by growing your own food, and have your taro questions answered. Discounted prices available!
