New Video Update on the Kihei Elementary School Garden

Check out our most recent planting days in this new 4 minute video produced by volunteer Elizabeth Crow. We’ve shared the video with Maui Tomorrow and they’ve incorporated into their TV show on AKAKU and asked us to provide them an update for their upcoming show.

Feed-in Tariff Law Under Review by Public Utilities Commission- Maui Weekly Article

Two Maui Weekly journalists attended the June 4th SMS Renewable Energy Committee meeting. One, Sophie Cocke, wrote an in-depth article covering problems of oil dependence and the current process of establishing Feed-in Tariff (FIT), an important part of establishing fossil fuel independence through clean, renewable energy.
